We're all feeling it - the heavy weight of holiday food sinking deeper and deeper into our bellies as we finish up New Years cookies and leftovers. It's 2017 and with New Years resolutions pressing hard on our heels, we all have changes to make in some form or another. Healthy breakfasts are a great place to start so today I've got 5 healthy breakfasts for you to try to get your healthy eating habits back on track!

Kale Goat Cheese Egg Bake by Fit Mitten Kitchen

If you're like me, egg casseroles are your jam. This one balances out cheese with more healthy additions like kale and substitutes some of the whole eggs with egg whites to keep it even lighter.

5 Minute Apple Pie Oatmeal by FashionEdible

Even though I love to cook, sometimes I just don't have the time or frankly, desire to do so. A quick, filling recipe is always my go-to when I'm short on time. This oatmeal dish with an apple pie twist is ready in about 5 minutes and will make any pie lover happy. Add a heavier dose of cinnamon if you're feeling really festive.

Forest Blueberry Smoothie by Smoothie Fairy Tales

I think we all love food that looks pretty and this blueberry layered smoothie not only looks gorgeous but contains some super nutritious ingredients. I love the addition of fresh figs and berries on top!

Maple Butternut Squash Quinoa Bake by Jar of Lemons

It doesn't get much healthier than this quinoa squash bake filled with pomegranate seeds. Free of gluten and refined sugar, this vegetarian breakfast is great for a crowd and is best enjoyed warm. Serve with a side of fresh fruit.

Turkey Sausage and Broccolini Egg White Muffins by Rachel Cooks

Egg muffins are one of my favorite grab-n-go foods. They are easy to make, versatile, healthy and freeze well. This recipe keeps things light by using turkey sausage and egg whites!

Hi! I'm Grace and I am a lifestyle blogger who loves adventure, shopping and food. I have a Middle Eastern background so of course I love to make (and obviously eat) all sorts of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean foods. Cakes are my favorite food in the world and sadly, I can never exercise self control around them. When we travel, I usually have a list of places that I want to try in that area and it's pretty normal to hear me talking about the next food spot while I'm enjoying my current one. I guess you could say life revolves around food. Thanks for joining me on this foodie adventure and if you're looking for some wanderlust, check out my instagram!
