  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 8 ounces ground beef
  • 8 ounces ground lamb
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 olive oil loaf, quartered and split
  • 1 heirloom tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • ½ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 ½ cup baby salad greens
  • ½ bag frozen french fries, cooked according to package instructions
Directions
  1. To make the feta spread, place the yogurt, feta, olive oil, parsley, and mint in the bowl of a food processor. Blend the ingredients until smooth, then cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Make the burger mix by placing the ground beef and ground lamb in a large bowl.
  3. Season the ground meats with salt, paprika, oregano, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Use your hands to mix the ingredients together until well blended.
  4. Portion the ground meat mix into 4 even patties.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Once hot, add the patties and grill for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  7. To assemble the burgers, spread the creamy feta mixture over the split loaves.
  8. Divide the grilled burger patties between the dressed loaves.
  9. Top the burgers with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, and salad greens.
  10. Top with french fries before capping and serving the burgers.
