  • ½ cup grated green apple
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh scallions
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 4 burger buns
Directions
  1. Make the glaze by placing the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, tahini, sriracha, mirin, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan. Whisk to combine and bring the sauce to a low simmer over medium-low heat.
  2. Cook the glaze for 10 minutes, whisking frequently, until thickened.
  3. Remove from the heat and sprinkle the sauce with sesame seeds. Whisk to combine and set aside to cool at room temperature.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Season the pork patties with salt.
  6. Place the patties on the preheated grill and cook on one side for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the patties and baste in the glaze. Cook for 5 minutes more or until cooked through.
  8. Remove the patties from the grill and baste with a little more glaze. Keep warm until ready to serve.
  9. To make the slaw, place the coleslaw mix, apple, scallions, cilantro, lemon juice, honey, and sesame oil in a large bowl. Toss to combine.
  10. To assemble the burgers, divide patties between buns.
  11. Generously top the patties with slaw and cap with the top buns. Serve with any extra sauce on the side.
