  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons minced yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon sweet relish
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 ounces ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • ½ large flour tortilla, halved
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 crispy tostadas
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon white sesame seeds
Directions
  1. To make the special sauce, place the mayonnaise, ketchup, onion, relish, paprika, and garlic powder in a medium bowl.
  2. Whisk to combine the sauce, cover, and refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. To make the burger mix, place the ground beef in a large bowl.
  4. Add the mayonnaise, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl.
  5. Using your hands, mix until thoroughly combined.
  6. Divide the burger mixture into 4 even balls.
  7. Spritz a large skillet or griddle pan with cooking spray and preheat over medium-high heat.
  8. Once hot, add the burger balls to the skillet, and sear for 1 minute.
  9. Firmly press the burgers flat using either a burger press of a slightly smaller (heavy-bottomed) skillet.
  10. Cook for 2 minutes or until deeply seared.
  11. Flip the burgers, reapply the press, and sear for another 2 minutes on the other side until seared.
  12. Remove the burgers from the skillet and set them aside. Reserve the pan drippings in a small bowl.
  13. To assemble the crunch wraps, place a flour tortilla on a clean work surface.
  14. Place one of the seared burger patties in the center of the tortilla.
  15. Top the patty with a slice of American cheese and 3 pickle slices.
  16. Dollop with 1 heaping tablespoon of the special sauce.
  17. Top with ½ cup of shredded lettuce.
  18. Top with one of the crispy tostadas.
  19. Place another burger on the tostada and top with a cheese slice, 3 pickles, and a dollop of special sauce.
  20. Top with ½ cup shredded lettuce.
  21. Place one of the cut tortilla pieces on top of the lettuce.
  22. Tightly fold the edges of the large tortilla toward the center, overlapping the folds slightly.
  23. Flip over, seam-side down, and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  24. Preheat the oven to 375 F and line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper.
  25. Drizzle the same skillet or griddle with a tablespoon of the reserved pan drippings and reheat over medium.
  26. Once hot, place the wrap seam-side down in the skillet, and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned and sealed.
  27. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, placing seared-side down.
  28. Brush the top of the wrap with egg wash.
  29. Generously sprinkle the top with sesame seeds and place the crunch wrap in the oven.
  30. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  31. Remove the crunch wrap from the oven and serve it with the remaining special sauce on the side for dipping and dunking.
