No-Bake Peanut Butter Granola Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • ½ cup peanut butter (on the runny side)
  • ⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ¼ cup slivered almonds
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper or use a silicone mold
  2. Add the peanut butter and honey to a small pot and cook for 3-5 minutes on low heat until smooth.
  3. Remove from the heat, add the vanilla extract and salt, and stir.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the oats and almonds.
  5. Pour the warm peanut butter into the bowl with the oats and stir until combined.
  6. Add the chocolate chips
  7. Press the mixture into the pan or the silicone mold. Pack tightly.
  8. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
  9. Slice or unmold and serve the granola bars.
