berger cookies
i saw these advertised in gourmet (i think). i ordered them for my birthday and yum! they remind me of black and whites only without the white. they are really good. i used to live in nyc and got my b&w's from moishe's so i know a good cookie/cake. just wanted to share my yum moment :)

They are a Baltimore thing. Lived here all my life. They also make Berger cakes!

It's a love/hate cookie. I'm also from Baltimore, and I have never cared for Bergers. If you like the sweet and fudgy, you will like them. If you don't, you won't.

Jackp and I had our first Berger cookies last fall. I think my heart is still pounding from the sugar.
They're fun once, but I don't think I'll be going back for seconds. Faidley's crab cakes, on the other hand, are definitely worth the trip.
