Craving: Best burger on the South Shore?
Quincy- Duxbury somewhere on the 3A corridor. It would be good if they had terrific, crispy fries with it as well.

In Quincy, The Fat Cat has a respectable burger and great fries.
In Hingham, Burton's at Derby Street Shoppes has been getting good reviews from co-workers. Their fries are very decent or better.
Dig a little deeper and I'm sure you'll find more good to excellent burgers on the south shore.
Enjoy,

I had a good burger at the Fat Cat today for lunch. A tad overdone, and I don't like this trend of big square bread with burgers. All the good stuff gets squished out! The fries were ok -- they mixed steak fries with french fries, and I've never been a fan of the steak variety -- but they had a nice potato-ey flavor. All-in-all, about the same as Stars. I was looking for something a little better.
Will have to try Burtons, I haven't made it over there yet!

I love the griddled burgers at Grumpy White's in Quincy. You can get one, two, three, or even four burgers as a meal there. Fries are pretty good, though not the best I've had.
