THE AMAZING, PATENTED CHOWHOUND RESTAURANT PICK GENERATOR
Ok, I invented a little game here to procrastinate from doing real work. Poster gives you a few places they enjoy, and readers give poster additional restaurant suggestions that they think captures the essence of what the poster likes about their short list. Hilarity and controversy ensues. An example:
The Other Room [casual, open air vibe, good beers] + Kings Head [good pub fare] = FATHER'S OFFICE

Between being empty on a Thursday night, so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and the cheesey candy/gift stand, I would have to disagree, but maybe we hit it on a bad night.

I'm at Monte Alban once a week or more -- it's usually pretty packed. The service, however, definitely has a spacey low-energy vibe.
