Meat Grinders

What do you recommend to grind meat at home? The cheaper the better. I don't have a Kitchen Aid. I want to mostly grind chuck for burgers, probably about twice a month or so.

  1. Check out the flea markets and look for the old ones that you attach to a countertop. Ebay is also a good source. Either that or a cheap food processor from Walmart, when using the food processor make sure the meat is already cut into 1'' cubes and is very cold but not frozen.

    1. if money is a bit issue then go with a hand crank meat grinder. Food processors do not do the same thing as a grinder.

I got this electric one off ebay for just about $100 a couple of years ago.
