La Voile owners to open cafe on Newbury
The owners of La Voile are in the planning processes for a new restaurant across the street from the current location. It is my understanding that it will be a more casual cafe/boulangerie type place, but I could be mistaken and I don't have many details.

One would think that the owners of La Voile would want to get their act a bit more consistent at La Volie before venturing further.

I'm not sure they notice. The place is consistently busy. Have you tried the morel sweetbreads or blanquette of veal? I had a couple really good meals there, though I do admit there are kinks and I've heard BAD things about the steak.
