Help! Need a delivery place in/near Dresher
Help, fellow 'hounds! I'm heading to Drescher from DC tomorrow for a funeral, then to sit shiva at my second cousin's home. I'm not at all familiar with the area, and want to send a platter (sweet or savory) to the shiva house. Any recommendations? Doesn't have to be kosher, just good and delivered.
Thank you so much!

Taste of Italy in Springhouse should deliver to Dresher - they do really nice sandwich and antipasto trays. The cakes and cookies are brought in from NY and are excellent, too. I'm 99% sure they deliver.

Benvivos (also in Springhouse) also has great taskle away food. Good italian savory sandwiches, pizzas, platters, salads. HUge selection, everything is yummy.

George's Dreshertown Shop N Bag has a catering department that would be able to handle this easily. They are located in Dresher on Limekiln Pike.

The Jewish style delis in the area do shiva trays all the time. They are Ben and Irv's in Huntingdon Valley and Pumpernick's in Montgomeryville. They'll deliver anywhere.

I'm not sure Taste of Italy or Bevivino's will give you the traditional shiva tray. I second the recommendations for either George's Shop n Bag in Dresher or Pumpernick's in North Wales.
