Best Korean for a festive occasion?
Would anyone be able to reccomend THE Korean spot either in the city (preffered, but will happily go to Queens if it is worth it) for a festive occasion with family? Here's the catch: the place must be fun for all, cater to carnivores, and have amazing vegan (no fishy business) food as well.
Reccomendations in this vein aside from Korean welcome. Give a hound a holla!

Madangsui on 36th Street is fabulous and you can't go wrong with the marinated kalbi. And the tofu dishes are good for vegan options (but be warned, very spicy!) The original is in Flushing and apparently the new location does not disappoint.

The Manhattan location is on 35th. Didn't know about the one in Flushing. There's also one in Fort Lee.

Bann has been very kind to us...accomodating those of us who delight in kalbi and catering to those who would gag at the sight of tiny shrimp in kimchee.
