Pho in Marin?
I don't expect to find Turtle Tower level pho in Marin, but is there anything there?

Le Maison de le Reine in Corte Madera's Town Center has pho. Haven't tried it there, but it seems to be a popular item.

The only pho in Marin I have tasted is from Saigon Village in San Rafael. It is a basic Vietnamese place with pretty good pho. Not up to the best, certainly, of the city or Oakland but when you need pho, it serves. Fairly large menu. Have had the full basic (couple kinds of beef, tendons, tripe, meatballs; very enjoyable slurping) and the pho ga (good, but not fabulous). It is not a long drive for me and on a day like today, (chilly, damp and foggy) it is just what I need for lunch.

I've eaten @ Saigon Village a number of times & have to agree - good, but not great. If you don't have ready access to great pho, it'll temporarily satisfy the pho jones.

Although Le Maison de le Reine is a much nicer ambiance, I actually prefer the Pho at Saigon Village. The prices are good and the pho always satisfies my craving. They also just added vegetarian options to the menu, so that's a nice bonus.
Its so frustrating that you have to drive to the city for Pho!

I have had pho at La Maison and it did not seem to have the depth of flavor in the broth that better versions have.
