Duck Breasts - Shelf Life?
Anyone have any idea how long a vacuum sealed duck breast will last in the fridge? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to bump, but I've looked elsewhere and can't seem to find an answer and I'd hate to throw out a nice duck breast just because I'm erring on the side of caution. Thanks.

How long have you had it there? From the freezer? I had some vacuum packed frozen ground lamb that I removed from the freezer Sunday and at last night, FWIW.
Edit - I took them out with some vacuum packed duck breasts that I cooked the next day - i.e., after one day in the fridge.

It wasn't frozen when I bought it, and hasn't been frozen since. It has been refrigerated, and it is in a vaccum sealed bag. It's been in there for about a week.

If it were me, I'd use them, applying the sniff test both when removing them from the packaging and while/after cooking.

True, can't go wrong with a sniff test.
