It's open! I stopped in this morning on my way to work and had a coffee and an apple chausson. This is one of my favorite Bay Bread pastries- flaky, not greasy, filled with fresh apples.
The coffee was very good. I'm not a coffee expert so I can't really say much more than that. It looks like they have a few more breakfast options than I've seen at other Bay Breads, including a breakfast pizza (eggs, swiss, tomato, and herbs with either bacon, smoked salmon, or asparagus) and the "La Boulange Egg" - a soft boiled egg...served with toast points and fresh fruit.
Service-wise, it seemed like a well-oiled machine at first. Unfortunately I took my number, told the cashier I'd be outside, and waited about 10 minutes for my coffee. I had to go back in and remind the. it's the first day- I'll let it slide. That said, the staff was very friendly and all of the customers were very excited to be there. Can't wait to go back!
