3rd ave near corner of 77th. Peppino's. If you like thin crust brick oven pizza, I think this is among the best. Although crowded with locals on Fri/Sat's nights, I think this pizza remains an unsung gem among chowhounds - in part, I guess, because Bay Ridge is not a go-to foodie destination.

Our go-to pizza joint for delivery is now Rocco's, 5th Avenue between 78th and 79th. It is fairly high-quality, thicker crust comfort-food type pizza. Haven't tried Peppino's.
Some hounds love Pizza Wagon, 8610 5th Ave. Thinner, kind of greasy I thought.

In my infrequest visits to Brooklyn, I always try and stop by Peppino's and eat a whole pie by myself. Not meant for everybody's pizza taste (thin crust), but I've always liked it.
