Anyone tried Mura in Park Slope?
Just wondered if anyone has tried the new sushi spot on 5th avenue called Mura? We're in desperate need of good sushi towards the south end of the slope - not Blue Ribbon Sushi.

Just tried it out last night and really liked it. Had the Park Slope roll (shrimp tempura and avocado topped with spicy tuna), which was surprisingly excellent, as was the sashimi deluxe that my gf got. I had the sushi deluxe, which was also really good and very generous, but not as good as the sashimi. Good prices, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

I had take out from them last week. I had a yellowtail scallion roll, made with a large solid hunk
of fish, not chopped up. Also had a cucumber sashimi roll, which was salmon, avacado, and roe wrapped in cucumber, (you can choose your fish), It was a generous 6 pieces served on top of a seaweed salad. All the fish was very fresh. My friend got shrimp tempura, which was a huge portion of at least 8 shrimp and vegetables. I had one, it was fresh and very cleanly fried, no grease.

We were there last week and then had take out. We tried the spicy tuna, shrimp tempura roll, "I Love Eel", and the appetizer roll with cucumber mentioned below. Everything was fresh and well prepared (the tempura had clearly been fried to order and was grease-less). It's no Taro, but it's infinitely better than Kiku and probably a step or so above Yamato. I wish their special rolls were simpler though - I personally don't like more than one type of fish in a roll - but that's just me.
