New Eats/Drinks in Williamsburg
Went to a new tapas lounge on the corner of North 8th and Wythe. What a great find! Nita Nita. Yummy sweet potatoes and chorizo. Magical butternut squash soup with bourbon and savory garlic shrimp. Had one of the bartender's signature drinks: the Barton Pear featuring La Poire vodka and some combination of fruits which transported me into summer. Topped off with cheesecake with a pear and ginger sauce. Simply divine way to spend a snowy evening.

My GF and I have gone a couple of times and agree with Novad. Everytime we have been the sweet potatoes and chorizo has been on the special menu, its very good & filling. Also recommeded is the Greens with garlic & parmisan cheese. Can't wait til summer when we can sit out on the back patio.

Kudos to Nita Nita. I had my 37th birthday party there and everyone loved the place. They have a back area that is perfect for a small group and their wine and tapas were both excellent. The bar is beautiful and it's mellow enough where you can actually have a conversation with someone. Go now before word gets out.

OHMYGOD. I ate at NITANITA last night and had the best experience. I too got the sweet potatoes and chorizo....what a suprisingly delicious combination! We ordered a lot of different things off the menu and everything was great. I LOVED the west african peanut soup and the greens with sesame oil. YUMMMM. As were the cucumber cocktail and pear cocktail. This place is really a great find. The service was great and really friendly too. I'll definitely be back!
