Rosamunde Burger Tuesday?
Are they still serving Burgers at Rosamunde on Tuesdays? I heard they changed management recently. Are they still good? I've had plenty of sausages but I've never been around on a Tuesday for a burger. Might be able to get one today though...

Crazy. I like Rosamunde, but I didn't know about the management change, having moved away from lower Haight. Are the burgers all fancy-style like their sausages?

well it's burgers if you order two of them, you must admit. And by fancy-style I just meant "using good ingredients, transcending the genre, elevating the commonplace into the realm of the sublime," but I figured people would take my meaning.

And I was attempting to state, evidently even more unclearly than you, that unlike their thoughtful, well-edited sausage selection, there is not a burger menu. Its one burger.

The recent complaints about Rosamunde have mostly been about their having switched to inferior buns.

Yes, the Burger Tuesday still exists at lunch. But I do not recommend going, its a locals thing and not something you can do in a 1-hour lunch.
The line, which begins to form at 11:30 has the same people in it every week. If you're not in the first group of people to order, it can take a looong time to get your burger. Many regulars will swing by, place their order & then come back an hour or so later for the pickup.
They pretty much sell-out by 2pm these days.
