Panago (pizza) - anyone tried this yet?
I saw an ad on tv for Panago; (another) pizza delivery chain.
Has anyone tried ordering from them? They have 2 locations in the GTA - Oakville and Whitby.
Their website is www.panago.com and their menu looks good.

I had some in Vancouver... it was pretty good for the Pizza Pizza - Pizza Hut spectrum but doesn't approach the quality of a good independent.

I've had them a bunch of times (I live in Whitby). As mentioned, it's fine for chain-food. It's probably your best option if all you have to choose from are the big-box restaurants. But if you're in the Oshawa/Whitby area, I would suggest you try Pepi's.
Of the pies I've tried from Panago, I would definitely rate their Tuscan Sausage and New York Deli the highest.
As a point of reference, I'd say that it's at least twice as good as Pizza Pizza.

I'd agree with that x2 Pizza Pizza rating.

I lived in Vancouver for 4 years and it was definitely my pizza of choice out of the chains available.
They have a lot of choice and some great differentiating toppings....I also love their roasted garlic dip. I think you can even purcahase it by the bottle!
If you try it, let us know what you think.

it was AMAZING.....we had a a veggie option (pesto perhaps).
Way better than any other pizza chain. Im also hoping for them to open up in my neighborhood.

For 23 dollars and change, I had a large pizza...
Regular Crust
Italian Sauce
Grilled Chicken
Red Peppers
Caramalized Oniuon
Sauteed Mushrooms
Roasted Garlic
Extra Cheese
This is one of the best "chain" pizzas I have had for delivery service.
I had my first Panago a while ago and this is my delivery pizza of choice now.
Now, I tuned my coworkers into Panago a couple of weeks ago and I asked a couple of them what their thoughts were:
Better than Pizza-Pizza and Pizza Hut etc etc
And they picked up on the one thing that was in the back of my mind but I hadn't mentioned it, it was almost greaseless. That's what struck me, very little grease.

I tried this about a month ago. I went to the Gerrard and Bay location. Pretty good, I must say. The crust is nice and thin, they don't scrimp on toppings, and it's not greasy.

I know most of you say it is better than Pizza Pizza and Pizza Hut which is not saying much at all. Could you recommend any pizzerias that are much better than Panago's that in the York Region area not Downtown Toronto?
