Eraclea Antica hot chocolate
Does anyone know where I can buy Eraclea chocolate, either already made, as in a cup of hot chocolate, or in packets so that I can make it at home? It is the best hot chocolate that I have ever tasted. I lived on it while in Rome.

I'm from Croatia and we have distributer for Eraclea hot chocolate products. Visit www.higis.com where you can find contact number. Their company is near Rijeka. If you decide to visit Zagreb you can enjoy in Eraclea in multiplex Cinestar. There is one bar on the -1 floor that serve Eraclea.

Ciao to all who replied to my email re where to find Eraclea hot chocolate. I have since made a trip to Nice and had a cup of hot chocolate in a boulangerie/bar. It tasted the same and was of the same consistency. I asked the owner for the name and where could I buy it to take home. He would only tell me that is is sold only to bars and such and not in retail stores. So I guess I will just have to make more trips to Europe.
To the person from Croatia. My son visited there and told me it is a fantastic place. So maybe I will go someday and look up my Beovic roots.

Wow! You and I are on the same quest. I want to order it too, but have not yet found enough info. I did find the web site The italian beverage Co.. Unfortunately, not enough info about how to make it, or if special equipment was needed. I was in Rome Dec of 04. I fell in love with that Hot Choc. This is great. I am an American living in Italy at the moment, and I'm looking to buy some online. I go to this cafe almost everyday and spend less than 2 euro on a cup of this divine chocolate. But I would love to start researching before I leave Italy, whereabouts I can find a place to buy. I may have to ask the owner of the Cafe!

I too just came back from Italy where I was blessed to taste Eraclea Hot Chocolate. I went to the cafe so often the owner gave me the menu to take as a souvenir. I have been looking also and that is how I found this site. Here is a site that sells eraclea. It looks expensive some things may be worth it!!

I tried to import it and open a chocolate shop. The FDA will not approve the import of Eraclea chocolate into the US. That was back in 2005. Maybe it things have changed.
