Good Burmese food in Manhattan or elsewhere?

Hello.
Just recently discovered Burmese food and was wondering if there are any good inexpensive Burmese restaurants or dives anywhere in Manhattan or the outer boroughs. I'm willing to travel anywhere there is public transportation. Thanks.

  1. i have not been here in a few years, but it was not a dive (reasonable prices, too). it is elsewhere and reachable by public transportation (you should be able to get a van from manhattan's chinatown to philly's chinatown).

Thanks for the tip. Do you know how far Philly chinatown is from NYC's chinatown? What's Philly's chinatown like?

    2. Village Mingola on 7th Street b/w 2nd and 3rd serves good, cheap Burmese. Enjoy.
