Buckhorn Restaurant/Truckstop - Greenland, NH

Has anyone ever eaten at this place? I've driven by it every day for the past 6 years and the parking lot is always packed with trucks. I'm thinking there must be something interesting there since it's about 3 miles off of 95.

  1. i've stopped at the one off I-84 in new york and it's not really worth a special trip. truckers probably stop because they can park easily and i think there's clean-up facilities available for them. it's just standard roadside fare.

I did eat there - for that same sort of curiousity - they have a very small breakfast buffet - it was really and truly terribly - but it's been so many years, I keep eyeballing it again, like maybe its changed. I'm a sucker.

    2. They serve a buffet during the weekdays. I've always have got full whenever I have ate there. It's all american diner food on the buffet, plus soups and salads. They also have a menu you can choose from.

      1. Be careful on cleanliness. It does get busy and the waitresses do a haphazard job cleaning the tabletops and snackbar sometimes. Salad bar is decent but they don't wash the lettuce. The cooks are good and bad. Breakfasts are great with or without the buffett. Bring your Zocor or Lipitor you'll need it. Truck drivers are always an interesting group of people and the stories are great!
