A little roasting goes a long way
They both taste great
When offering gum doesn't cut it
A wintry take on a warm-weather classic
With a pinch of cayenne
Not as sweet as the store-bought, with great spice

We ended up arriving late on Friday so had only one dinner in Bethel. Our plan was to have a drink at Suds Pub and then head upstairs to the Sudbury Inn for dinner (after reviewing the binder of menus provided by our inn, the SI looked most appealing).
However, we found the atmosphere in Suds to be quite comfy and once we had seats at the bar and the band started to play, well, we stayed there.
Our dinner was very good - traditional pub grub. Between the two of us we shared:
French Onion soup - pretty good but a little too much cheese for my taste.
Lobster Artichoke Dip - soooo good. Chunks of lobster and artichoke in a hot cream-cheese based dip. Served with herbed bread - really good.
French Dip sandwich (hold the mozzarella cheese) - this was also great. The horseradish cream was perfectly zingy. My BF also loved the french fries that came with the sandwich but I was too full to try any!
Another great thing about this place - the enormous beer selection and the incredibly friendly bartender (Joe) who seemed to know everyone in the place.
We liked it so much we went back Sunday afternoon for a beer, wings, and pizza before heading back down to Boston. The wings (Hot) were the best I've had in a long time and the dressing had huge chunks of blue cheese - BF appreciated that. The pizza (cheese and tomato sauce) was also delicious. They must be known for their pizza b/c just about every other table that was there at the same time had a pizza on it - a good sign in my book.
