Hyannis in the winter

Hi,

Going to Hyannis next weekend. Will have kids in tow. Any recs for decent family food that's non-chain?

Doesn't need to be gourmet, but hate to feel like a tourist & end up in someplaces that I'd regret.

Thanks Hounds

  1. I like going to Cooke's Seafood when I'm there and getting the Chowder in their Bread Bowl. It's not far from the Airport Rotary. They have a nice menu. Click on the link below for more information.

Cooke's closes for the winter. I do not think they will be open next weekend. In the Cape Codder Hotel (just down route 132 from Cooke's) is the Hearth & Kettle (a local chain) which should be good for a family. For burritos go to B2Bistro in the KMart Plaza.

They might be open....I took this right off their website. March-November: Open 11:30 daily. Next weekend we're in March.
