Cincinnati chili
After a grad school stint outside Cincinnati, I am craving Cincinnati chili. Anyone know of a place in CT that serves that variety?

A little roasting goes a long way
They both taste great
When offering gum doesn't cut it
A wintry take on a warm-weather classic
With a pinch of cayenne
Not as sweet as the store-bought, with great spice

Haven't seen Cincinatti Chili featured on a Ct menu.
Roadside Chili House in Bethel and Brookfield Ct makes a good no-bean chili, doubt you can get the pasta though.
If you are anywhere close you can likely get a pint or so to go and spice it up Cincinatti style? I have seen the Skyline Canned Chili in some of the discount stores on occasion but not often.
The Skyline WWW site has a link for online ordering.
good luck

Thanks for the suggestion. I have resorted to getting cans of Skyline, but it is not the same as having it served to you at a restaurant. I also have a pretty good facsimile in a recipe for the chili, but I don't always want to make it, you know?
Thanks again for trying to come up with ideas.

Go to Capitol Lunch on Main St in New Britain.
They're best known as a hot dog place, but their chili very much resembles Cincinnati chili.
