Best Burgers Providence?

Always in search of the perfect burger, anyone have any suggestions in Providence? We have had burgers at 3 Steeple St. and Kartabar. Any place that is a 'must try'? Thanks in advance.

  1. I have had fantastig burgers at Paragon on Thayer Street, and terrible burgers there as well.

They are nice and big, served rare/medium rare as asked, grilled nice and dark on the outside... a meat texture I like. A nice semi soft bun, and very fresh toppings, although I prefer no toppings. However, another visit it tasted like the whole thing was frozen.

    1. I would recommend the Abbey near the intersection of Admiral and River. Something of a PC bar, but the burgers more than compensate for that. Also has a better than average beer selection.

      1. Haven Brothers, for the atmosphere.

        1. The Ivy Tavern on Hope Street makes a delicious burger. They butter and spice the bun before grilling it slightly, yum! Burger is huge, never overcooked, very very good. Fries are just so-so, however.
