Good seafood??

Hi...I live in northern CT but grew up near Boston. I'm looking for a good seafood place. I'm not looking for fancy, sit-down seafood like Carmen Anthony's, but a casual place to get fried clams, fish 'n chips, lobster rolls, etc. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

  1. "northern connecticut" is about 100 miles wide - depending on where you are, you could try maine seafood in east windsor. good food, sizable portions and reasonable prices. they must be doing something right - there's always a wait for a table.

Sorry...I'm in north-central CT - East Windsor is doable. Thanks!!

    2. If you want delicious whole belly fried clams and don't mind driving....check out Westfair Fish and Chips in Westport.......a hidden gem! It is a very small restaurant but the food is so good and very reasonable. We often drive there from where we live in NW Connecticut and have lunch there after going to Trader Joe's or Penzey's Spices in Norwalk.
