Lunch in Portsmouth today?

Going to Portsmouth NH today. Any ideas for a good lunch?

  1. It depends on your taste, actually.

Molly Mallone's, on State Street, has a good lunch menu, and an upstairs bar that is quite nice.

Muddy River Smokehouse, on Congress Street has great smoked ribs.

The Stockpot, on Bow Street, has a pretty good lunch menu as well, focusing on sandwiches and soups.

Rusty Hammer, on State Street and Market Street, has a nicely balanced lunch menu.

When I'm in downtown Portsmouth, those are my usual lunch destinations. Where I go depends on what I feel like having.

All of those places have a pretty good selection of beers, if that appeals to you. [smile]

I've posted a link that will give a more comprehensive list of restaurants in the area.
