Lunch date in New Haven
Does anyone know of a good lunch hour restaurant in New Haven to bring my lady to? The only thing she requested is no pizza. Any and all help is appreciated!

A new option that I've really enjoyed is Cafe Goodfellas on State street. Nice menu, great food, not too pricey. Excellent service.
If you want fancier, you can't beat Carmen Anthony's steakhouse, Union League or Roomba.

So instead of heeding Zina's advice my lady decided that we go to Temple Grill. Possibly the worst food decision of the year thus far. My medium burger was burned to a crisp and grilling up the burger took them all of 50 minutes to complete. To say I was unimpressed is an understatement. Outside of the visually pleasing aesthetics there is no reason to go to Temple Grill. That is, unless you aren't hungry. Service was adequate at best.
