Jazzwine Grille-Tyngsboro MA- long
Went tonight. It has only been opened for one week.
Since their website is not up yet I was not able to check out the menu first. I did call to see what was available.
Nothing grabbed my attention - now I am a very, very picky eater. I ended up with salad and a soup. Salad was good, the 5 onion soup was sweet with no taste of onion.
Hubby had the lobster pie, market price at $22.00. He had the vegetable of the day with it instead of a starch. Four asparagus stalks. It was okay, but he did say he might try again if we came back.
The prices seem a bit high for this particular area, but since I didn't really eat any of the entrees I'll reserve that for another time.
Our server was very good
The owners were going to tables asking how things were, how we heard about them etc.
One side of the room has booths for four, various sized tables down the center and tables for four along the windows.
I have a menu, but no prices are printed. So I may be off with some of the prices.
Their website should be up in about 2 weeks.
Apps were in the $6-10 range I think
Entrees were $18 to mid $30's I think, and that was for the mignon and lobster tale.
I had Pinot Grigio at $6 most wines were between $6 - $10 glass. Looked like a decent wine list, but I didn't spend a lot of time with it.
Decent selection of draft beers.

They open at 4:00pm, we got there about 4:20. At that time only 2 tables occupied. A couple or two were in the lounge waiting for tables, we still had about a 15 minute wait. I think it was due to servers still coming on in, and they didn't want to load up on one or two servers.
Most people were dressed very casual, as we were. A good number of people came in looked at the menu and left, especially if they had kids in tow.
I think it could have been the prices. Considering what else is in the immdediate area, I think they were thinking more of chain prices.
When we left it was getting very busy.
I think they can do well with a little tweaking here and there. Also, if the meals are good I think they'll do fine.
I wish I could give a better review, but for some reason nothing appealed to me at the time.
I know people were wondering about the menu, so thought I would post that.

Their prices are very high, we looked and left, may try at a later date. Their steak is $27. we ate at Carabbea's, got an excellent steak for $17, everything is good there. There were only 2 tables occupied. If I owned a restaurant, I'd rather have more customers and lower prices, than an empty restaurant. We're not talking Miami beach or downtown boston.
