Try Ralph and Rich's downtown. It's been there for ages and the food is good.

There is a great deli I came across in the Black Rock section called Harborside. They have great wraps and salads. A cute little place in a residential area. Right off of Fairfield Avenue.
Bloodroot is also another option. They are a feminst vegan, cafeteria style restaurant off of Fairfield Avenue as well. Their menu changes daily but the food is great.
These are both casual places that I thought I should add to the list!
