You don't see it around much - or at least I don't. Antoine's has it, although they call it " Crevettes a la creole".
Mr. B's barbequed shrimp is considered by many to be the best shrimp dish in town. And it would be a lot easier on your pocketbook.

Buy the New Orleans Junior League Cookbook ("Plantation" )and use their recipe. It is terrific & everyone in town recognizes it upon first taste. Make it at home.Even frozen shrimp--which are fairly ubiquitous even at the shrimp-boat dock-- will do fine.
