  • 3-4 pound pork roast, 2-3 tablespoons of steak seasoning, 1 bottle of Blue moom beer. Your favorite BBQ sauce
  • Optional coleslaw: bag of coleslaw, 1/4 cup of ceaser dressing, 3-4 tablespoons of blue moon beer

Summary

I have always cooked my pork bbq in beer. Sweeter beer tends to make it taste so good.

Instructions

  1. 1Rub 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite steak seasoning on the pork roast. Heat a skillet to med- high heat. Sear the pork roast on all sides. Transfer the pork roast to a slow cooker and pour 1 bottle of blue moon beer over the roast. Slow cook for 8 hours.
  2. 2Remove cooked pork roast from slow cooker and start shredding. Use the slow cooker drippings to keep the roast moist. Add 3-4 tablespoons of the slow cooker drippings to your favorite bbq sauce. Load the meat onto a sandwich bun and top with the desired amount of bbq sauce. I like wheat buns. You can also add my special coleslaw on top of this.
  3. 3Coleslaw recipe- 1 bag of coleslaw, 1/4 cup ceasar dressing, 3 tablespoons of blue moon beer. Enjoy!
