I have a Zojirushi fuzzy logic rice cooker (a great purchase, IMO), and just set out to cook some brown sticky rice I bought with no idea how to cook it. Three of the choices on the cooker, in lengthening cooking order (I think, anyway), are 'sticky rice', 'semibrown rice', and 'brown rice'. Wasn't sure where to go , but ended up using the brown rice setting because I didn't want it to be undercooked. I also hope it isn't overcooked.
Has anybody used that rice, and if you used a rice cooker, what setting works best?
I rinsed it like i usually do, and it barely clouded the water at all, which made me think the grains were pretty tight and therefore needed a longer cooking time.
