Decided to have a late lunch at Zavino, on 13th Street (Philadelphia). Very quaint setting, outdoor seating, dark wood interior, neat little antipasta station up front. I ordered the Kennett pizza and a glass of Sicilian Red. "The Kennett" is made with beschemel, fresh mozzarella from Claudio's (Philadelphia),carmelized onions, and three types of locally grown mushrooms (Kennett Square). The pizza was delicious. It paired nicely with the glass of wine. The service was excellent, my server was attentive and accommodating.
I will definitely return to try another pizza and other items on their menu! The wine list is nice as well and reasonably priced.
