So, instead of promising something impossible like, "I'll go to the gym every other day," or "I'll lose 20 lbs," I simply resolved to "live healthier." Part of the plan was to be less gluttonous, to not be so extreme in my consumption of all things food related.
This all lasted for about 3 days. Food in moderation. Lean meats, less desserts, no more deep fried pork belly with hot fudge. You know the drill.
Then I spied a free bar stool at Momofuku Noodle Bar. It was all over. I ordered the Smoked Chicken WIngs, Steamed Pork Buns, Kimchi-something or other, and Smokey Maple soft serve. Now that's what I call falling off the wagon. Directly into a puddle of goodness!!!
