Just a quickie have been to Yi Soon in the last couple of weeks. Their array of items seems to change a bit and there were two particularly delicious new ones that I had not see before:
- Sweet potato bun. The usual light dough with the most delightful light delicately flavored sweet potato filling. Absolutely delicious.
- Whole wheat, raisin, walnut bun. Different dough then usual. A whole wheat version. Very thin layers rolled up. The layers are very richly packed with walnuts and raisins and the whole thing has just the right amound of sweetness. Then the pastry at the very end is rolled in sesame seeds. Mouth watering, delicate, excellent, as are so many of their pastries.
I continue to love this place.
