Thanks to CHAddict for leading a chowdown a week ago and showing me and some other hounds Yamo in the Mission.
The amount of food for the chowdown was huge and it was not spicy or seasoned enough for most of the hounds. But Yamo showed to me a lot of promise as a cheap Burmese place for quick and simple food.
So today ChowFun and I had a quick lunch at Yamo.
Samosa, had a nice curry mashed potato filling and were freshly fried.
Tea salad, which was a lot more spicy and hotter this time but as ChowFun said wish there was a little more tea.
Mango Chicken over hot rice, they used fresh mango and the taste and texture was there, All the favor and texture came thought.
Finally coconut curry chicken soup, which again had more bit than for the last meal.
I am not sure if the are able to cook for a large group at this time but I think the really do single order just fine. I will have to try this again when I get to San Francisco.

Also we found a Vietnamese/Mexican place around the corner. Chowfun has pictures.
