Wow, the $19.99 Rodizio Lunch at Boizao!

I'm doing low carb and yesterday I felt like having a steak...
I've been eating cheap, making low carb wraps for the past few days so I felt justified...

It was lunch time, and Longhorn and Sam Seltzer--- both on Dale Mabry in Tampa--- were really busy...
I planned on getting a big steak and I was fearing the price tag, thinking of just buying a steak and cooking it myself--- but then I thought of the Brazilian places in Tampa...

The two smaller places closed up--- Brasa Grill on Waters and Brasilia on Armenia--- so I called Boizao to ask if they were open for lunch, and if so, how much was the lunch Rodizio...
Dinner's like $50.00, so I was really happy to hear $19.99...

I was there in a couple minutes...

Normally I'm not uncomfortable eating by myself but this place is pretty fancy and this time I was a little... It didn't stop me... It smelled great...

The big salad bar is nice, but diminished for lunch, and who cares?!
I snatched a few olives, grilled red peppers, and green beans...

A two-sided disc on the table--- green and red...
MORE MEAT or DEAR GOD, NO MORE MEAT...

Supposedly 40 various items would be trotted out of the kitchen on twin skewers two at a time... Before I could wonder how long the wait would be in between offerings it was 'shock and awe'...

Fresh, juicy, tender, grilled, well-seasoned, and dripping, cuts of various beef, pork, chicken, sausage, bacon wrapped this and that, beef rib, leg of lamb!, lamb chops!, kept coming at me...
Pre-cut portioned chunks slid off the skewer, and slices of larger primals that you grab with your personal tongs as they peel away...

It was a scene man...

Next time I'll say no to the chicken breast and pork loin, and double yes to the lamb, beef ribs, and top sirloin...
All the beef was spectacular... But pretty rare, like I want it...

I don't know what someone does who likes beef well done, but I imaging they accommodate...

Today, I'm still in ketosis, and yes, I wanted to go back...

I promised myself I'd go twice a month...

And great googlymoogly, I need to see what they do for dinner!
