Worst mexican ever?

I was asked to meet some people at pappasitos last night for diner and had arguably one of the worst meals ever. You used to be able to go to a Pappas rest and get decent food I don't know if that's the case anymore. First off the chips and salsa are nowhere near as good as they were 10-20 years ago. That's ok I can get over that. We ordered some queso and it was barely edible. Then I shared fajitas with my wife. First off the waitress holds the tortilla basket up and presents it to the customer as if it were a fine bottle of wine, its really wierd if you ask me. This grand presentation was a disastor, the tortillas were hard. We finally found a decent one on the bottom. Still it wasn't a very good tortilla. You remember when Pappasitos was known for good tortillas and chips? Waht's happened. It seems like it has deteriated over the last 5 years. Anyway, on to the fajitas. What was the meat they served me? It looked like beef, it even looked like skirt steak but the texture was horrific. Skirt should have a certain oughness to it, its the nature of the cut. This meat had the texture of a bad pot roast. I get the feeling the meat is parbiled and sent to the restaurants in order to finish off in order to save time and turn tables. I could be wrong but that's certainly possible.
