Woody's

Went there yesterday afternoon after matinee at the Huntington.
Generous hummus appetizer, served with lavash instead of pita. Nice not to have all that bread. Generously garnished with red onions and olives (pitted Calamata, i do believe).
I had a small pre-designed "sausage pizza", which had linguica, feta cheese, leeks and roasted red peppers. Superb. My SO had a pizza he designed with Italian sausage, artichoke hearts and spinach. In the high heat of the oven, the fresh spinach got toasted and not steamed. Very different and quite delicious. The pizza crusts were thin and the dough was very flavorful. Among the top five pizzas in Boston, IMO.

Good fun to sit at the bar and drink beers (they had Tremont Ale on tap, as well as two different Ipswiches and Sierra Nevada, plus some htat I forget) and watch pizzas being slid in and out of the oven.
Three beers, hummus and two pizzas were $35 before tip.
