Hi, Chowhounders. I have a couple 13-oz dried bean/spice packages from the Women's Bean Project--one is Firehouse #10 Hot Chili Mix, and the other is Old Fashioned Mild Chili Mix. Has anyone tried cooking these in a slow-cooker (and even better, at altitude), and if so, what was the cooking time, and at which setting? Did you need to add additional liquid to the slow-cooker?
