In a couple of weeks, a close friend is visiting his folks north of the Dells (in Friendship) and desperately needs a suggestion for a memorable place to take his parents to dinner -- preferably with an American meat-and-potato option. The grandkids will not be going. The folks are older semi-retired and very casual but might get relatively gussied up if there was a good reason to.
[The folks would be driving so we'd rather they not drive more than 30-40 minutes away. We're thinking a place in Lake Delton may be our closest and best bet for dinner.]
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks very much for your help!
3 options we thought of (none of which we've done):
1. Dells Boat Tours Sunset Dinner Cruise
(We think the folks might enjoy this casual option, which nonetheless could be memorable -- UNLESS somebody says the food and/or experience is awful!)
3. House of Embers
(Between Del-Bar and House of Embers, do you have a preference for a special occasion? Better for conversation?)
