I'm have an upcoming weekend reservation at Apizz, largely based off some positive comments from this board.
I'm lacking in knowledge of Italian wines. I typically prefer the bigger cabs. A brunello? A Barbaresco? A Rosso de Mantalcino? Its a pretty reasonably priced list and I'll likely not exceed the $100 price tag given my dining companions.
Any of you have a working knowledge in those wines care to persue the list and identify any solid values which we might enjoy?
