Nobo Eguchi has kept this hole in the wall going for years and his fiercly loyal clientele will practically drag you off the street to tell you to sit down and
eat. To entice you they may offer some of the beer or saki they have brought along and Nobo has refrigerated on their behalf (he does not serve booze but has no objections to you bringing your own).
Because he runs down to Santa Cruz to get his own Salmon and Tuna you are assured very fresh fish. I really enjoyed the albacore tune or "white "tuna. For very little money, you get two enourmous peices of proteinaceous silk that tenderly dissolves in your mouth with barely a chew.
