whey?

I know this is probably a long shot, but... I enjoy eating plain yogurt, especially the Erivan brand, very much, and it often has about half an inch of liquid at the top, which I am told is whey and usually poured off the yogurt. Well, I love the whey, and I'm wondering what yogurt manufacturers do with it. do they ever bottle and sell it? I have seen powdered whey, but that's it. I can imagine using whey in cooking or even drinking it straight, so I'd like to get my hands on some if possible.
