Went to Westville for brunch today during prime bruch time - it was lovely, tasty and an all-round great experience. One of my friends, who lives in the village, said he regretted not going there before.
I ordered the plate of four market sides, choosing roasted beets with walnuts, roasted artichoke hearts, sautéed mixed mushrooms and Asian-style bok choy. My friends each ordered one of the special scrambles, one opting for the mushroom-asparagus version and the other, the ground beef and onion.
The vegetables were fabulous - not only fresh, but expertly prepared too. The artichokes were topped with grated parmesan, which had baked into a crust; the bok choy was still crisp; the mushrooms were still juicy. I will say that the beets could have been more roasted/caramelized and the walnuts should have been toasted, but overall a great meal.
My friends were also happy with their meals, noting that the eggs were still moist and fluffy, not overcooked.
The service was friendly, even when we changed from a party of three, to two, to three again. And we waited only 10 minutes for a table at 1 p.m.
I loved it, and I will def. go back - but like this time, only with one or two friends (it's small).
