The many wanderings of Kolbeh

Once upon a time there was a cozy Iranian family restaurant on Hillcroft. It had wonderful cuisine, a delectible assortment of flavored rices, and was overall one of my favorite spots for Sunday evening family dinners. Then a fire swept the strip-center and Kolbeh moved to grander digs on Beverly Hill. This didn't last, and Kolbeh next popped-up adjacent to a Holiday Inn on I-10. Most recently, Kolbeh has resurfaced on Dairy-Ashford in another cavernous space. Alas, I was the only diner the last time I visited. The menu had morphed to include rube-friendly American fare (I guess in case you wandered in unknowingly thinking this was a Fuddrucker's clone). Has anyone else visited lately? I long for the original, the one with the mural of Kahju bridge over the bar, that made many a Sunday evening something to look forward to.
