vegetarian meals in N.O.?

Our group will be returning to New Orleans in a few weeks. Two members are vegetarians. In order to find a happy medium, I am wondering if anyone can suggest places for dinner that aren't primarily vegetarian but either has such dishes on the menu (aside from a salad) or has been known to whip up something wonderful. I have read somewhere that K-Paul's served up a great eggplant dish as a vegetarian request. At the moment, we have Peristyle and Emeril's on the list. Can they do or have they done something great beside the standard pasta primavera? Muriel's has fit the bill as well as Commander's. Please do not suggest Mona's (or is it Mona Lisa's?) as two of us got deathly ill from eating their seafood. Their garlic and cheese pizza was good however.

So have any vegetarians or any fellow carnivores had similar situations where both parties had a great meal in the same restaurant?
